Getting Started
A prediction market is a platform where you can trade on the outcomes of real-world events. The price of a contract reflects the market's collective belief about the probability of an event occurring. If you believe an outcome is more likely than the current price suggests, you can buy; if less likely, you can sell.
Click "Get Started" or "Register" on the homepage. You can sign up with your email and password, or use Google OAuth for quick registration. After registration, you'll have access to all markets and can start trading once you deposit funds.
Yes. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption, two-factor authentication (2FA), secure authentication, and regular security audits. Your funds are held in segregated accounts and are protected by our comprehensive security infrastructure.
PredictBet offers markets across multiple categories: Politics, Crypto, Sports, Entertainment, Science & Tech, Economics, and more. You can browse all markets at /markets or explore specific categories. Sports betting is available at /sports with live odds for NFL, NBA, and other leagues.
Trading
Prices range from $0.01 to $0.99 and represent the market's implied probability. A YES share priced at $0.60 means the market believes there's a 60% chance the event will happen. If the event occurs, YES shares pay out $1.00; if not, they pay $0.
A market order executes immediately at the best available price. A limit order lets you specify the exact price you want to pay - it will only execute if the market reaches your price. Limit orders are free (0% maker fee) while market orders pay a taker fee.
When the event outcome is determined, the market resolves. If you hold winning shares (YES shares for a yes outcome, or NO shares for a no outcome), each share pays out $1.00. Losing shares pay out $0. Payouts are automatically credited to your wallet.
Yes! You can sell your shares at any time before the market closes. Place a sell order on your position and another trader can buy it. This lets you take profits early or cut losses without waiting for resolution.
Combo Trades (Parlays)
Combos (also called parlays) let you bundle 2-6 different market predictions into a single trade. If ALL your predictions are correct, you win the full payout. The combined probability is calculated by multiplying individual probabilities, giving you higher potential returns for taking on more risk.
Combo odds are calculated by multiplying the probability of each pick. For example, 3 picks each at 50% (even money): 0.50 × 0.50 × 0.50 = 12.5% chance to win. This gives you 8:1 odds - a $10 bet returns $80 if all picks hit! The more picks you add, the higher your potential payout.
Combos on PredictBet execute instantly at fair value plus a small spread (1-2%). There's no waiting for quotes or market makers. Select your markets, enter your size, click 'Buy Now', and your position is created immediately. This is similar to how Kalshi handles multi-leg trades.
If a leg is voided (e.g., game cancelled or market invalidated), your combo is settled at 70% of the voided leg's contribution. The remaining legs are still evaluated normally. This ensures you're not penalized for events outside your control while maintaining fair pricing.
Yes! Toggle 'Practice Mode' in the combo builder to trade with virtual money. Practice trades execute instantly just like real trades, helping you learn the mechanics without financial risk. Practice positions are tracked separately from your real portfolio.
Sports Betting
Sports betting on PredictBet uses the same prediction market mechanics. Each game has multiple markets: Winner (who wins), Spread (point spread coverage), and Total (over/under points). Visit /sports to see all upcoming games.
We offer markets on major US sports including NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college football, and college basketball. International sports like soccer, tennis, and MMA are also available. Live odds update in real-time during games.
Winner: Bet on which team wins the game. Spread: Bet on whether a team covers the point spread (e.g., Chiefs -3.5 means they must win by 4+). Total: Bet on whether the combined score goes over or under a number (e.g., Over 45.5 points).
Sports markets resolve automatically after games end. Scores are fetched from official sources (The Odds API, ESPN) and markets are settled within minutes of game completion. Multi-day sports like Test cricket (up to 5 days) are fully supported. Winnings are credited to your wallet automatically.
AI Predictions
Our AI analyzes multiple data sources including historical performance, head-to-head records, team form, injury reports, weather conditions, and betting market movements. The AI combines this data to calculate confidence percentages for each outcome. Learn more at /methodology.
Each prediction displays a small chart showing how our AI's confidence has changed over time (usually 24 hours). Rising confidence means our model has become more certain; falling means less certain. This helps you spot momentum in predictions.
When our AI's confidence changes significantly, we show tags explaining why. Common reasons include: Injury (player ruled out), Line Move (betting lines shifted), Form (recent results changed), Weather (conditions affecting the game), and H2H (head-to-head history impact).
Our AI's historical performance is tracked in real-time at /track-record. We display accuracy percentages and ROI (return on investment) for each sport and league. Accuracy varies by sport - some leagues are more predictable than others.
Visit /teams and search for your team, or go directly to /teams/[team-slug] (e.g., /teams/arsenal). Team pages show upcoming matches, recent results, our AI's track record with that team, and current predictions.
Visit /leagues and select your league, or go directly to /leagues/[league-slug] (e.g., /leagues/premier-league). League hub pages show all upcoming matches, AI accuracy for that league, and links to team pages.
Watchlist & Alerts
Click the bookmark/star icon on any market card or market page to add it to your watchlist. Access your watchlist anytime from /watchlist in the main navigation.
Yes! You can add entire teams or leagues to your watchlist. When you follow a team, you'll be notified about all their upcoming matches. Follow a league to track all games in that competition.
You can receive: Match Reminders (24h before game time), Confidence Changes (when AI prediction shifts significantly), Results (when markets resolve), and Weekly Summaries (digest of your picks).
Go to Settings > Notifications and enable "Email Alerts". Then configure which types of alerts you want: match reminders, confidence changes, or results. You can set reminder timing (e.g., 24h, 6h, 1h before game).
Yes! Enable push notifications in Settings > Notifications. You'll need to allow notifications in your browser. Push alerts are instant and great for time-sensitive updates like late injury news or line movements.
Deposits & Withdrawals
Go to your Wallet page and click "Deposit". We support multiple payment methods: cryptocurrency (USDC on Polygon) via your Web3 wallet, or card payments via Stripe. Choose your preferred method, complete the transaction, and your funds will be credited. Minimum deposit is $10.
Navigate to your Wallet and click "Withdraw". Enter your withdrawal details and the amount to withdraw. Crypto withdrawals are processed in USDC on Polygon. You must complete identity verification (KYC) before withdrawing. Processing typically takes a few minutes.
We support USDC (USD Coin) on the Polygon network for crypto payments, and card payments via Stripe. Additional payment providers may be available depending on your platform's configuration. For crypto, make sure your wallet is connected to the Polygon network.
Yes. Maker orders (limit orders that add liquidity) are free (0%). Taker orders (market orders or matching limit orders) pay 0.50% for Standard tier, with discounts up to 60% for high-volume traders. There's a $0.05 minimum fee per trade. Deposits are free; withdrawals may have small network fees. Visit the Fees page (/fees) for complete details.
Fees & Pricing
Maker orders add liquidity to the order book (e.g., a limit order that doesn't immediately match) and are always free (0%). Taker orders remove liquidity (market orders or limit orders that match immediately) and pay 0.50% at the Standard tier. Using limit orders instead of market orders can save you money on fees.
Your taker fee rate decreases based on your 30-day trading volume: Standard (0.50%), Bronze $10k+ (0.45%), Silver $50k+ (0.40%), Gold $100k+ (0.35%), Platinum $500k+ (0.25%), Diamond $1M+ (0.20%). Maker orders remain free at all tiers.
Visit the Fees page (/fees) to see your current tier, 30-day trading volume, and progress toward the next tier. Your tier updates automatically as your trading volume changes.
There is a $0.05 minimum fee per taker trade. This means very small trades (under $10) will pay the minimum rather than the percentage rate. This helps prevent micro-order spam on the platform.
Two ways: 1) Use limit orders instead of market orders - maker orders are always free. 2) Trade more volume to unlock lower fee tiers - Diamond tier traders pay only 0.20% compared to 0.50% at Standard tier (60% savings).
KYC Verification
KYC (Know Your Customer) is an identity verification process required for unlocking higher deposit and withdrawal limits. It helps us comply with regulations and keep the platform safe. Go to Profile > KYC Verification to start the process.
Required: 1) Valid government ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID), 2) Selfie holding your ID. Optional (for higher limits): Proof of residence and bank statement. Submit more documents to unlock higher limits - our team will assign the appropriate level.
There are 3 KYC levels: Level 1 (Basic, ID + Selfie) - $5,000 daily deposit/$2,000 withdrawal. Level 2 (Enhanced, + Address + PoR) - $25,000/$10,000. Level 3 (Full, + Bank Statement) - $100,000/$50,000. Submit more documents for higher levels.
Our team assigns your level based on: 1) Documents you provide, 2) Document quality and clarity, 3) Your country's regulatory requirements. Some countries require more documentation than others. Submit high-quality, complete documents for the best level.
Yes! In many countries, Level 1 only requires a valid ID and selfie. This gives you $5,000 daily deposit and $2,000 daily withdrawal limits. You can submit additional documents later to upgrade to higher levels.
We accept: Passport, Driver's License, or National ID Card. The document must be valid (not expired), government-issued, and clearly show your photo, name, and date of birth. All four corners must be visible in the photo.
Proof of residence is optional (for Level 2+). Accepted documents (dated within 3 months): Utility bill (gas, electric, water), Bank statement, Government letter, or Rental agreement. Must show your name and address.
Bank statement is optional (for Level 3). If submitting, it should show: Your full name, recent transactions, account balance, and be dated within 3 months. This helps unlock the highest limits ($100K daily).
Most KYC submissions are reviewed within 1-2 business days. You'll receive an email notification when your verification is complete. If additional information is needed, we'll contact you.
Take a clear selfie holding your ID document next to your face. Both your face and the ID should be clearly visible. Make sure there's good lighting and the ID text is readable. This verifies that you are the document owner.
Common rejection reasons: Document is expired or illegible, photo is blurry or cut off, document doesn't match submitted information, selfie doesn't clearly show both face and ID, or proof of residence is older than 3 months. You can resubmit with corrected documents.
Account & Security
Use a strong, unique password and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) in Settings > Security. We support authenticator apps like Google Authenticator or Authy. Never share your login credentials and be cautious of phishing attempts.
Go to Settings > Security and click "Enable 2FA". Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.), enter the 6-digit code to verify, and save your backup codes securely. 2FA is required for withdrawals.
Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email address. You'll receive a link to reset your password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support.
Backup codes are one-time use codes provided when you enable 2FA. Store them securely - they let you access your account if you lose access to your authenticator app. Each code can only be used once.
Transparency & Verification
We publish hourly order book snapshots to IPFS (a decentralized storage network) that anyone can download and verify. Visit /audit to view all snapshots, their content hashes, and IPFS links. You can independently verify that our order book data matches these immutable records.
Every hour, we export a complete snapshot of all markets, orders, and trades to IPFS. Each snapshot includes a SHA-256 hash for verification and links to the previous snapshot, creating an auditable chain. This ensures the trading data cannot be altered retroactively.
When a market is resolved, we generate a cryptographic hash of the resolution data (market ID, outcome, timestamp, proof URL, etc.) and record it on the Polygon blockchain. Anyone can independently verify that a resolution hasn't been tampered with by comparing the on-chain hash with the computed hash from the resolution data.
High-value markets (over $10,000 volume or $5,000 open interest) require approval from multiple administrators before resolution. This 2-of-3 multi-signature requirement ensures no single person can manipulate significant market outcomes.
Visit /audit to access our public transparency dashboard. You'll find hourly IPFS snapshots, verification instructions, and a tool to verify any market's resolution hash against the blockchain record. All this data is publicly accessible without requiring an account.
After a market is resolved, there's a 24-hour waiting period before winnings are paid out. This dispute window allows administrators to correct any resolution errors before settlement. During this time, you'll see your position as 'pending settlement'. Once the window passes without changes, your winnings are automatically credited to your account. You can verify any resolution on the /audit page.

Flash5 Markets
Flash5 markets are short 5-minute prediction markets for major crypto assets. Each market asks whether price will be at or above a target at a precise UTC close time.
Flash5 markets resolve automatically using timestamped price snapshots from CoinGecko and Binance around market close. If data is unavailable in time, fallback checks and safety voiding are applied.
Yes. If a Flash5 market cannot be resolved safely within the configured timeout, it is auto-voided and open positions are refunded according to platform cancellation rules.
